Kathy was my younger sister, she was six years my junior. I had the privilege of being the first sibling to greet her, just after she was born. She was a lovely baby, born into a family of five children. Born at a time when things were hard. Despite this hardship it was a time when we laughed a lot, new all their neighbors, and the streets were full of people with whom you could stop and chat. Back early in her life she started to suffer from Epilepsy which continued throughout her life. However she managed to form a positive view of her problems, and made a success of her life. She got married and reared three lovely children.
She was an inspiration to us all.
A small tribute from Frances Joyce Pickup.
