Steve was a shooting colleague of mine for almost 20 years and he was part of our shoot in Eccleshall Staffordshire to which he travelled from his home in Yorkshire. He was occasionally joined by his son Stephen with whom I know he shared his love of country pursuits. We would have regular zoom meetings and as well as sharing investment ideas we would discuss football shooting and our respective families. Steve loved family life and I know he was looking forward to becoming a grandfather - something that he reiterated when we last spoke a few days before Janet broke the sad news of his passing. Steve was an unassuming man, no airs or graces, with a great sense of fun and I like many others will miss him and his friendship

Steve was a shooting colleague of mine for almost 20 years and was a member of our shoot in Eccleshall to which he travelled from his home in Yorkshire. Often he would be joined by his son Stephen with whom I know he shared his passion for country pursuits. We enjoyed many good days together and continued to keep in contact and debate our interest in the stock market. Our regular zoom meetings focused upon football, shooting and our respective families. I know how much he loved family life and was looking forward to becoming a grandfather - something that he reiterated when we last spoke only a few days before Janet gave me the sad news of his passing. I always found him to be a warm and unassuming character without airs and graces and someone whose friendship I will sorely miss
