Colin GeorgeCUMBLETONPassed away peacefully on 29th October aged 71 years. Much loved son of the late Maurice and Elizabeth and cousin of Marmie and Dian. Born in Shepton Mallet and resident of Horfield, Bristol, Colin will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The funeral Service will be held at Mendip Crematorium on 9th December at 1.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Asthma UK may be left at the service or forwarded to A R W Connock & Son Funeral Directors, The Croft, 27 West Shepton, Shepton Mallet BA4 5UL.

I was clearing out old emails today and realised the last time we spoke was in January 2021. He told me he was getting better, and I’d sent him a photo of a snowman I’d made.

I still remember him sharing old jokes with me at St Nicholas Market, and the Portishead stamp auction.

I have only just seen this and saddened to read of the passing of Colin. A past pupil of his but also a friend who shared his love of opera and singing. A lovely man who had great wit - RIP

Despite the fact that it is one year Colin has left us, I still feel that he is still around. He has not left us. He will always be in our hearts.

Colin has always been my rock. He is always ready to assist and he will never give up in trying to help. He will always be in my prayers. Rest in Peace. Thank you and I hope that you will find peace in heaven.
