RED SKY AT NIGHT
A red sky can come on any clear night
And it means the air is dry -
And so, the olden folk of yore
Were pleased at the sky so high -
The shepherds tending sheep at night -
Had an enemy of the rain -
So, a clear red sky spoke of a warm night
And a dry bed to rest in again -
A red sky at night gives a warm glow
To not only shepherds but all that we know -
Whom live alone and has no inner dream -
Except from the window – a wonderful scene -
To say goodnight on a sky so red -
Safely tucked up with that view in our head.
