Matthew DeanCROWLEYPassed away on 8th of May 2026, aged 27, at the Royal Derby Hospital.
A much-loved son, brother, uncle, partner and friend to so many. His kindness, compassion, and generosity touched countless lives. His door was always open, and he never hesitated to help anyone in need, especially those struggling with their mental health. He offered a listening ear, words of encouragement, and unwavering support to so many, often putting others before himself.
Music was his greatest passion, and he was fortunate enough to make a living doing what he loved most-singing. Whether on stage or among family and friends, his voice brought joy to countless people. He had a wonderfully wild spirit, a larger-than-life personality, and a sense of humour that could light up any room. Life was never dull when he was around, and his energy, laughter, and unforgettable character will be deeply missed.
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, music, and memories that will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
We know you'll be singing up there, filling Heaven with the same joy, laughter, and music that you brought to all of us. Until we meet again, you'll forever be loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
A celebration of Matthew's life will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Monday 13th July at 9:30am followed by a private close family and friends committal.
