George AlbertCROPPERof Hollingate Cottages, Rising Bridge, who passed away peacefully at home, on his 82nd birthday, with his daughter by his side.
A loving father of Clare, a doting grandad to Barney, a dear brother and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was loved by his family, friends and customers alike.
George's funeral will take place at 12noon on Friday 16th May 2025 at St James Church, Accrington, BB5 2ER and Clare is asking for those of you who would like to, or are able to, to meet at Croppers Butchers, BB5 1HF to line the streets and then accompany George by following the funeral cortege on the short walk to the church.
Family flowers only please but donations are welcome to Rosemere Cancer Centre where George received treatment.
