For Pete and all the support he received.

A kind man taken far too soon.

The love and support you had for Abi and her family was always beautiful to see. When we were youngsters, I would be jealous of the father daughter relationship you both had as it was so loving.

There would be many times during mine and Abi's friendship that I would see you, either at a family party or if you were just popping in to Abi's to give her something you had just bought her. I would wonder what name you would call me when you saw me.. Clarissa was usually the go to name and it would always make me laugh because I could see how hard you tried to remember my name.

I'm sorry I cant be at the funeral tomorrow to support my best friend, but I have given a little donation in support of many other families that will be going through the same thing as you did.

I will light a little candle in your memory and I know that you will be by Abi's side through the tough days to come.

Peter, when we were about 14yrs old, you kindly invited me to stay with you and your family at RAF Debden during the school summer holidays. We spent the days whizzing around the airbase on a moped that belonged to someone in your family. One day we decided to hitch hike the 20 miles to Cambridge to see Gary Glitter at The Corn Exchange and somehow, we managed to get a lift in a Rolls Royce. The gig was sold out so we couldn’t get in, maybe a blessing in disguise. I’ll never forget those days or you Peter, we had such laugh. Rest in Peace matey.

Goodbye Pete, l hope you have a good seat to watch the footie. Just to say that you have been the nicest neighbour anyone could have asked for. Don't drink to much wine

Grandad, we are missing you lots. We really miss playing animal bingo with you and telling you that you’ve missed one or two animals. We also wanted to tell you that the guinea pigs have had babies, we know how much you wanted to be here to see them so here’s a photo. Love you grandad xx
