Mitchell JamesCOWELLPassed away suddenly but peacefully on 14th August 2025, aged 55 years. A devoted and caring dad to Leon, Armand, Freda Rose and Saffy. Much loved son of Diana, and dearly missed by his sisters Rowena, Tracey, Deborah and Amanda. A fun-loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews, and a true and loyal friend to so many.

Mitchell was a gifted artist, full of warmth and laughter, the life and soul of any gathering. He touched countless hearts and meant the world to all who knew him.

His family take great comfort in knowing that Mitchell was able to give the gift of life through the donation of his healthy organs and tissue to those in need — a beautiful legacy for a man whose vibrant spirit will never fade.

A celebration of Mitchell's life will take place at Bangor Crematorium on Wednesday, 17th September 2025 at 12 Noon.

Family flowers only, however, donation in memory of Mitchell will be gratefully received towards the British Heart Foundation.

Sorry to hear of Mitchell's passing. He was a fellow pupil in Friars and a good guy. My thoughts are with his family. Julie

All my memories of you are good ones. If laughter is the food of life then we ate well. Sometimes life just gets in the way. See you up there.
