DympnaCOPELANDDympna Copeland, née McAulay, passed away on 22 July, following a four-year long battle with cancer. Dympna, originally from Haldane, Balloch, was a well-known figure within the area and spent much of her life helping others in the community. Dympna was the Brown Owl of St Kessog's Brownies for 18 years, and President of West Dunbartonshire Swimming Club for four years. She owned her own beauty salon in Lomond Castle and was a big part of the Loch Lomond Water Ski Club. She leaves behind her husband Bill, daughter Ashleigh and son Taylor. Her funeral will take place on Thursday 29 July 12pm at Drymen Church. Due to covid restrictions the funeral ceremony is by invitation only. There are no restrictions at the burial, which will take place on site at the church.
