JoanCOOPER(nee Kirby) Husband and family of Joan would like to thank carers and nursing staff at Marie Curie Hospice, (Newcastle Freeman and R.V.I). And Gatehead Q.E. for their fitting devotion during and towards Joan during her prolonged battle against cancer. Also the wonderful service given at Ryton Cemetery graveside by the Rev Janet Capstick. All donations from neighbours, friends and family for Cancer Research UK passed onto Marie Curie Hospice. Our families would also like to thank everyone for their sympathy cards (some 40 in all) as well as beautiful flowers. Thanks everyone so very much. Your feelings towards Joan have shown what a wonderful school nanny and lady she was.
