So glad that I got to know John, as a wonderful grandfather to my partner Tylah. He made me feel welcomed into his family.

The first time we met, it was a sunny day, and we immediately clicked on the subjects of music and his interest in Amsterdam.

I am sure he will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Even if just for a few years, like myself.

Jon was a lovely kind soul who has left a huge gap in his families lives. He was full of love and light and had touched the hearts of many during his long life.
Sending all the family love and light as right now it may be missing, but shall return.

You were the best great grandad to my daughters, they love you so very much.

You were the greatest grandad I could ever of wished for.

You were the chattiest, funniest, most understanding and loving man I’ve ever known.

You loved me for my whole life, now I will miss you for the rest of mine. We love you grandad.
