SvenCONIBEARof Northenden, Greater Manchester, died peacefully on Wednesday, 8th October, 2025, aged 59.

Beloved son of Breege, much loved brother to Nigel, Nicholas and Gregory, cherished uncle to Sofia, Cato and Mark, Sven will be dearly missed by all.

All are warmly welcome to join for a celebration of life service which will be held at Rochdale Crematorium, Bury Rd, OL11 4DG on Friday, 31st October at 1.20pm. Family and friends will gather afterwards for refreshments at Rochdale Rugby Club, Moorgate Ave, OL11 5LU.

Huge thanks to everyone for their help, support and condolences, together with the many cards and kind messages from niece and nephews, aunts, and Sven's many cousins around the world. Very special thanks go to cousins Ashling and Ciara.

Sven was a wonderful friend to me when we were at school and in the 4th Kensington Scout Troop in the late 70s and early 80’s, a truly lovely fella, and I’m so saddened to read of his passing. I remember his mum and dad having the Barleymow pub in the West End, and loved spending time with him there. Go well Sven. Kindest wishes Mark Lloyd.
