Thinking of you all today, as we say goodbye to Uncle Patrick. I always remember how passionate Uncle Patrick was about his cooking. Uncle Patrick loved cooking, cooking for family and talking, telling us all about it. We still use the recipes now that he invented. Lots of lovely memories of growing up and spending time and having wonderful conversations with Uncle Patrick. If we ever needed to know where to find him, we would look in the kitchen. Dear Patrick (and Marilyn) have been so kind to us and served as surrogate parents to our daughter (Amy, married to Kara) for nearly 25 years. We loved Patrick's stories! He was a treasure - and a master in the kitchen and gardens.
It's been challenging for all to navigate his final illness. Our hearts and prayers have been turned to supplication on their behalf. God bless you, Marilyn, and your family.
