EdnaCOLLINSCOLLINS Edna. After a series of long and misera- ble illnesses she has not deserved. Fi- nally passed to rest at City Hospital on Saturday, February 2 at the age of 98 years. Left to grieve is husband Frank whom she married December 26, 1935. Edna founded a Midlands Section of the Infantile Paraly- sis Fellowship in 1947 and actively ran the Birmingham Branch for many years. Latterly she has helped numer- ous, mainly animal Charities and will be missed by many people. Having no family of her own, Edna has been greatly helped in her last years by her dear niece Gloria Jean to whom 'aunty En' was part of her life. Service on Monday, February 18, 2008 at West Bromwich Crematorium at 12.00 p.m. God Bless you Edna, peace after pain.
