JohnCOLFERIt is with immense sadness that I announce the death of my beloved dad Sean (John) Colfer.
Born in Dublin, Dad moved to England in the 1950's. He settled in Loughborough with my late mum, Margaret. Together with my sisters Jayne and Julie, we lived on Meadow Lane for many years.
As a driver for Trent buses until the late 1980's, Dad was a familiar figure in Loughborough. He was a kind and generous man, with a great sense of humour and a chat for everyone. He lived a long and contented life and was laughing and joking until the end. He was a devoted dad, grandad and great grandad and he is going to be missed so very much.
Rest in peace Dad, until we meet again. All my love, Deb x
