The obituary notice of Norman COLEGATE

We went to the Denbighshire and Flint show today. Picked up something for the grave. I love reliving memories and making new ones. Keeping traditions going forever and always. It was awfully hot today. Nain would have had Grandad and I covered in suncream even though grandad was never fussed about wearing it. Grandad would have enjoyed watching the bikers doing their stuntshow.

When leaving the grave today, we had the windows down. We had moved only so far along the road when a white feather flew into the car. I will take it as a sign. X

Remembering you this Fathers Day.
I was out yesterday as a food festival and saw so many goodies you would have loved to have tried.
We popped into an old fashioned sweetshop and I pointed out all the ones you would have in your sweet tin. Me and Nain would reward ourselves with one or two when we had been playing cards. I dont even know if you were aware. My favourites for always the chocolate chews. Nain was quite partial to a pear drop. I love them too. I was treated to some chocolate chews yesterday and I will share them with Alex.

No matter what the past has thrown at me, it's comforting and I'm lucky to have so many great memories from the best role models. Makes me happy and proud to share all of the stories.
