We have known Bob over the last 38 years as a neighbour and friend. Sometimes a man of few words and sometimes a raconteur of great stories. I valued his friendship and vast knowledge on all manner of county matters. He had his extraordinary ability as a maker and knackler. Every night I sleep under the beams and roof trusses he built for us when he restored our barn, made from solid ancient Pitch Pine, with a signature and fox head carved into its apex, glad to have a lasting memory of his friendship and skill. But mostly I will miss the conversations and encounters as I pass by his yard. You will be missed.
Neil, Lesley and family.
