ChristineCLARKChristine Clark, previously Thompson and Denbigh, daughter of late Vincent and Cathleen Denbigh, of Read, died on Thursday, April 28, aged 69. After leaving St Christopher’s High School, Christine spent a number of years in hospitality and retail management at McDonald’s and Clinton Cards. Christine enjoyed her holidays, particularly Lanzarote. She kept busy studying genealogy and assembling jigsaws. Christine leaves behind loyal husband, Peter, and devoted children Stephen, Jill and Neil. She also leaves two loving step-children Sarah and Jonathan, and grandchildren Alex, Courtney, Claudia, Thomas, Holly and Lucy. Christine also leaves brothers and sisters Ronnie, Lesley and Jean. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 11, at 2.20pm at Accrington Crematorium Chapel, led by Philip Norris. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the British Lung Foundation c/o funeral director Hyndburn Funeral Services, Accrington.
