Joan MaryCHRISTISONPeacefully at home, with family on Thursday 12th June 2025, Joan aged 85 years.

Beloved wife to the late Ian. Loving Mother to Richard and Gill and devoted Granny to Owen, Simon and Paul. Sorely missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service will take place at Masonhill Crematorium on Friday 4th July at 2pm to which all family and friends are invited.

Family flowers only.

My life long friend over 85 years -Joan Byers - Christison . Caring, full of fun, loved by thousands of kiddies she taught over the years. She travelled from her home in Scotland to visit us in Shields last year and we re-lived many happy memories. Which will forever stay with me and my family. The little movie brings the past alive...
