Joe was a lovely man who made sure he got to meet all the people around in the area. When I was new to Brigg while working there he came across on his daily visit round the town and we soon got to know each other. He always had a smile and a kind word to all in the town. He made sure he went into every establishment to wish them well every day. He was very kind gentle and always had a smile! One of a kind that will be truly missed.

We would like to send Joe's family our deepest condolences.
Joe was just such a wonderful, kind & caring man and we will really miss you & your wonderful smile & fabulous sense of humour.
You were such a great friend to my mum Jean who also lived at Ancholme Mews, befriending her on the day she arrived to the day she passed, also at Lindsey Lodge.
You then became such a good friend to myself and my partner Colin and we are both just so sad that you are no longer with us.
Your smile brightened up any room you entered and your wonderful laugh will never be forgotton. A true gentleman who gave so much of his time to others you will live in all our hearts. Love you Joe, see you on the otherside.
