Isobel ConstanceCHARSLEYIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isobel Constance Charsley, widow of Dr Philip Charsley, who died peacefully in Guildford on 2 July 2026, aged 91.
Isobel will be remembered above all for her kindness, generosity, and the quiet way she was always there to help others. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, compassion, and caring nature, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A much-loved mother, she leaves behind her three children, Paul, Catherine, Susan and her grandchildren, who will cherish her memory and the love and support she gave them throughout their lives.
A service to celebrate Isobel's life will be held at Guildford Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday, 29 July 2026, at 1:30 pm. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and join in remembering a truly special woman whose kindness made the world a better place.
