The obituary notice of Peter CHAPMAN

I cant believe its been a year since we lost you. Not a day goes by when your not in my thoughts, I wish I could have 1 more day with you, but then that wouldnt be enough. I like to think we are making you proud, taking nanna out and making her happy.

We all miss you so much, I hope your up there with Julie looking down on us all.

Time may have passed us by
Missing you still brings tears to my eye
Your voice I long to hear
Though your spirit still feels very near
Signs from heaven you have gifted
These give us hope and we feel lifted
As you know you are still around

Keep sending nanna signs

Well today we had your funeral I hope we made you proud such a lovely service for such a lovely man the happy memories will hopefully come into play now and help our lovely family rebuild I hope you was looking on and enjoyed what we did for you dad love you and miss you so much dad until we meet again dad love you Pete from dud xxx

A poem for the best poet, my Grandad!

My name is Amanda, when naughty Jane,
Grandad I hated seeing you in pain,
You were not just a Grandad but a father figure,
You always encouraged me to achieve something much bigger,
You have always been there through the good and the bad,
More time is what I wished we had,
But I have written this poem, though hard to do,
To let you know just how much I love you,
You always taught us right from wrong,
Great memories I cherish of us dancing all night long,
During sleepovers you attempted acrobatics in our bedroom,
Hours spent playing in your beautiful garden in full bloom,
From being a dare devil in the Pleasure Beach,
To racing along Filey beach,
Fond memories of us I'll hold forever in my heart,
Grandad I wish we never had to part,
Grandad I inspire to be the kindest, nicest person like you,
Grandad I really miss you!
