Tony “The Tiger” Chambers
My dad was a unique character who touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. A proud man, loyal and true, he lived by strong values each and every day. His passion for martial arts, his love of feng shui, and his deep bond with his loyal German Shepherds reflected the way he carried himself with respect, discipline, and quiet strength.
He also had a true Rock and Roll spirit. A lifelong Elvis and Rock and Roll fan, he loved the music, the energy, and the joy it brought to his life and those around him.
To his family and friends, he was genuine, dependable, and always ready to stand by those he loved. He admired tigers for their courage and independence, which is how he came to be known as “Tony the Tiger.”
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his legacy of love, loyalty and music will live on in the lives he touched.
For those who knew him and had the pleasure of meeting him, and for those who cannot attend the funeral, I would love to invite you to a Celebration of his Life at the Eyres Monsell Club, Little John Rd, Leicester (LE2 9BL), from 17:30 until late on Friday 10 October. This event, held in his honour, will feature incredible live Rock and Roll music, a world-renowned Elvis tribute, and all the things he loved most as we come together to celebrate his life.
