Passed away following a fall on 22 July 2025 at Cramlington Hospital with family present.
Dave, devoted father to Andrea (deceased March 2025), Karen, James and Gary, Louise (deceased May 2025) and Andrew (known as Andy) and husband of Dorothy. Loving father-in-law to Rachel, Mark and Helena and cherished grandfather to Kieran, Lauren, Katie (known as August), Theo and Niamh.
Dave was also a loving brother to Sheila, George, Max (deceased) and twin sister Susan and a special person to all wider family members, friends and ex colleagues.
Please meet for Service at Tynemouth Crematorium on Thursday 21 August 2025 at 10.30am. All those that wish to pay their respects are welcome. Then afterwards for a Celebration of Dave's life at North Shields Catholic Club.
Family flowers only and a donation box will be available for a collection towards the Salvation Army.
Dave was an avid Newcastle supporter and we ask if you have an unused scarf or shirt, that this can be placed on top of the casket on exiting from the Service. Plus we are asking minimal black attire and to highlight that as blue was Dave's favourite colour, please feel free to wear something blue in his memory, this would be appreciated by the family
