NormanCHADWICKOn Wednesday, April 6, peacefully, after a long illness, Norman died aged 84, at Springhill Nursing Home, Accrington. Formerly of Haslingden, Helmshore, Accrington, Oswaldtwistle and Bury. Husband of the late Betty Chadwick, brother to Bill, the late Harold and Les. Dad to Paul, Martin, Neil, Beverley and the late Tina. Father-in-law of Graham, Carol and Kate. Missed and loved Grandad and GreatGrandad. His funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 20, at 12.30pm, with a small service at Johnson, Durning & Woods Chapel of Rest, followed by a burial at Haslingden Cemetery. Employed in his later years at Holland’s Pies, he previously worked on building the M62 motorway, in Manchester. Norman was a long time Bury FC supporter. He loved Test cricket and bowls at Haslingden Bowling Club. Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather opening where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy. The smile and laughter continue.
