I worked with Liam at a joinery place and he was a very close mate while I was there, he was a machine operator and I worked just across from him. He started working there a couple of weeks before me and that's why we were so close, we helped each other through the crazy warehouse environment but he helped me more. Every morning (beginning shift) and every afternoon (end shift) he would stop and chat with me and often times when I wasn't busy I would sneak over to his station and help him with the machine and he would sneak over to my station and help me wrap products and load them onto the lorries. He was my closest pal while I was there and I think ultimately I never got over the empty space that he left behind and I couldn't work there anymore. He gave my his spare yellow box cutter on a Tuesday morning and stopped me having a panic attack because mine had broke, then I was ill for the rest of the week and I came into work on the following Monday to learn what had happened and it's just one of those things that you can't make sense of.
Anyways I just wanted to find this post-thing so I had somewhere to put these thoughts, I think of Liam so often he was my only proper friend every day working there and I wish I could give him his yellow box cutter back.
