I’m deeply saddened to hear of Mr Catty’s passing. He was my absolute favourite teacher who I have the fondest memories of. I remember him as such a fiercely intelligent and funny man, and the impact he has had on my education and career is completely invaluable. He was a true pillar in my education and taught so many of us that we can do hard things if we commit to learning them. Thank you Mr Catty for getting me through those difficult years of Maths and Further Maths and always believing in me, you inspired me to be the engineer I am today. I hope you are resting peacefully and my deepest condolences to your family and loved ones x
