The obituary notice of Simon Richard William CATCHPOLE

Simon was a great support to me when I started teaching, but more importantly he became a good friend too. I had the pleasure of being part of his band for several years but my fondest memory of Simon was his sheer delight when I told him that my wife was expecting our first child and to celebrate this he wrote a song about how happy this had made him which the band then performed for many years.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Dawn, and sending our sincere condolences.

I still have very fond memories of my time at Mundella and singing with the Hsndsomers. Xx

We were so very sad to hear of Simon’s untimely death but have many fond memories over the years of his professional, musical and other contributions. Sending condolences to his loved ones, especially Dawn and Beth.

The smile that lit up the room and made me try harder at our gigs will be sorely missed.
