John CASTELLAIN It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved John.

Much loved Son, Dad, Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle and friend to many.

Funeral Mass to be held at St George's RC Church Maghull on 31st July 2025 at 1.45pm. Followed by Committal at West Lancs Crematorium, Pippin Street, L40 7SP. Following the service all friends of John are invited to celebrate his life at Number 12 Bar, 12 Church Street, Ormskirk.

The McKechnie family first met John more than 50 years ago, and felt privileged to call him a friend. We can't recall how many times we had a problem, some small, some bigger, when John would instantly offer his help to us. We remember fondly the family celebrations we joined them at, each member of the Castellains making us so welcome.
We will miss John so much R.I.P John

The McKechnie family are so saddened to hear of John's passing.
We were so privileged to have met John and Winnie more than 50 years ago, and have lost count of the number of occasions when John, without pausing for a second, helped us with some problem or other.
