Former pupil of Moor Hall Primary and Fairfax School, student of Birmingham University, and previously a lawyer with Hammonds/Squire Sanders law firm, Birmingham. "A young man taken too early when he had so much more to give". Simon lost his savage but courageously borne 6 months fight against cancer on 15th March 2019 at the age of just 34 years. He will be very much missed by Hannah, his wife of 18 months, Harvey, his 8 weeks old son, his sister Michelle and parents John and Margaret, together with members of his wider family and his exceptionally large circle of friends. There will be a private cremation service. Anyone who knew Simon, in whatever capacity, is welcome to join the family at 2.30pm on Monday 15th April 2019 in the Richardson Suite at the WBA football ground, The Hawthorns, West Bromwich, when people can pay their respects to Simon and share their memories of this exceptional young man. At Simon's request, please wear smart dark attire. It was Simon's wish that any donations in lieu of flowers be split between St Giles Hospice, Whittington and The Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity.
