Sydney ArthurCARLYONOn Thursday, 7th August 2025, peacefully at home with his devoted wife, Jen, by his side, Syd, aged 75, of Mount Hawke.

A devoted and cherished husband to Jennifer; a much-loved father to Michael, Shaun & Mandy; dear father-in-law to Lex & Chris; proud grandad to Lyra; dear brother to only surviving sister, Jenny; uncle to many nieces & nephews; a very proud Cornishman and friend to all that knew him.

A celebration of Syd's life will take place at Treswithian Downs Crematorium on Wednesday, 27th August 2025, at 11am.

If desired, donations for the RCHT Sunrise Centre will be gratefully received via the retiring collection, through the online Charity link on the Funeral Notice or c/o the Funeral Director, Andrea Myhill.

Syd you will be greatly missed by us all. I am so lucky to have lots of fond memories with you, when you used to take me out on your Bultaco motorbike and out swimming in the sea. You gave me the love of bikes and I will always remember our time together.
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
