Damian John DominicCARBERRYOn 17th January 2023, Damian closed up his pride and joy, Damian Carberry Express Alteration Tailors, for the last time. He passed away where he was happiest, serving and entertaining his customers, aged 77 years. Damian leaves behind his loving wife Elaine and three children, Andrew, Sarah and Laura. A funeral service will be held at the Exeter and Devon Crematorium on Friday 3rd March at 11:30am, St Peter’s Chapel. Family flowers only please. Donations can be made, if desired, for British Heart Foundation or Dementia UK by retiring collection, sent to LeRoy Funerals, 298 Topsham Road, Exeter, EX2 6HG or online on this notice.

Have only just seen this and I’m gutted- such a great man!
I had many garments adjusted over many years and really enjoyed heading there and his company. There’s a shirt I wear occasionally and the hem always flips up, I guess he might have been disappointed to hear, but I’ll always think of him when I wear it. RIP x

We were so sorry to hear of Damian’s passing. As owners of Terry’s Takeaway, we got to know him well when he was in Princesshay. He was a loyal customer and friend, a great character. Heartfelt condolences to Elaine, Andrew, Sarah and Laura from Terry and Sian.
