JimCANONBYERS Eileen, Marie & Joseph and all other members of the family of the late Canon Jim Byers wish to thank the Right Rev. Bishop John Keenan, The Right Rev. John Mone, (Bishop Emeritus), Mgr. Denis Carlin, Mgr. John Tormey, Rev. Brian McGee, Rev. Eoin Patten, Canon John Cunney, Rev. David Boyd, Rev John Eagers and all Jim’s brother priests for their support and prayers following the death of Fr Jim. The family would like to thank the parishioners of St Bernadette’s & St John Bosco, and the parishioners all of Jim’s previous parishes for their prayers and support during this sad time. To Margaret his housekeeper, and to all the housekeepers in previous parishes for their friendship & support of Jim, especially in those times of need when Jim’s diabetes was causing problems. To Tom & Carol Ann, his constant climbing companions, and to Kate and all of Jim’s other close friends, our many thanks for giving Jim their friendship & support. Our thanks also go to Stephen of Renfrew Funeral Services Ltd for his kind attention & perfectly organised funeral arrangements.
