Anna Josephine (Nancy)CAIRNSMoores Farm, High St., Walton, Leicestershire. LE17 5RG Beloved wife Nancy 82, died at home on 16th December 2020. Nancy was a loving wife for 61 years to David and caring mother to five children. Nancy embraced life and all it had to offer. Her zest for life was underpinned by her passion for equality and championing the causes of those who are less fortunate. This value was exemplified through her active campaigning for causes including, supporting work towards the Peace process in Northern Ireland, Amnesty International and older people's welfare in the local Coventry community. Nancy, along-side David continued this work during the year they were inaugurated as the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Coventry. She cherished her large extended family including 28 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed, and her memory tenderly remembered. Due to restricted numbers as a result of COVID, a private funeral will be held at All Souls Catholic Church, Coventry on the 11/1/21.
