TrevorBUTTERYOn 6th December 2025 peacefully in hospital in Cheshire. Trevor aged 73 years, of Hull and Roos, the much loved husband of Gill, Dad of Rachel & Michael, Grandad of Lucy, Emily, Sophie & Charlotte, Brother of Rita and the late Graham. Funeral Service to be held at Vale Royal Crematorium, Northwich, Cheshire on Friday 2nd January 2026 at 1:00 pm followed by committal.

Sad to see this news. Mr Buttery was among the first wave of teachers who opened Wilberforce College. His passion for Geography was infectious and I learned a ton from him. It wasn't only in the classroom, he was also such a great presence on field trips which provided a great opportunity for him to showcase his quick wit and general compassion.

So many of us have built our success on the shoulders of people like Mr Buttery and I for one am grateful.

May he rest in peace and I hope his family knows hat an impact he had.
