BURLEYOn 16th August 2008, peacefully and with great dignity, Sammy Burley aged just 53 years and one day, sadly passed away at home in the loving embrace of his family who were at his side throughout. Much loved husband of Ann, dad to Yvonne and Steven, wee brother of Margaret and brother-in-law Raymond, greatest papa to Laura, Natalie and wee Katie, son-in-law of Fay and brother-in-law Tom. Hearts broken, no words can describe such pain, our lives will never be the same again - never ever forgotten. Sorely missed by us all and also by many close friends of Sammy. Service at Grange Church, Kilmarnock on Friday 22nd August at 9.45am. Funeral thereafter to Kilmarnock Cemetery (Grassyards Road) arriving at 10.45am, followed by purvey at Park Hotel, Kilmarnock. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Headway Ayrshire. There will be retiral collection at church. Deepest thanks to consultant and nursing staff of Wards 4B and 5C Crosshouse Hospital, I.T.U. Southern General Hospital, Glasgow for the compassion and effort given to Sammy's care. Also to the doctor and district nursing team of London Road Surgery for their dedicated care and support to the family.
