ConstanceBURKITTBURKITT - CONSTANCE (Connie), on 12th January 2009. Died peacefully at Glan Clwyd Hospital aged 97 years after a short illness. Wife of the late Cyril Burkett, killed while on active service in the Ardennes in 1944. Mother to Jonathan Burkitt, and Step Sister to the late Muriel McNab. Resident of Woodside Grange Care Home and previous resident of Brigadoon Care Home. Previously resident at Penrhyn Court, Penrhyn Bay having moved from Prenton in Birkenhead and before that having lived in Childwall, Liverpool from 1937. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and up to very close to the end wanted her lipstick on every morning. She had an indomitable character and was not afraid to speak her mind throughout her life, Funeral service takes place on Monday 26th January 2009 at Colwyn Bay Crematorium at 2.00pm.
