Today is your birthday, Mum.
And, as always, I will be celebrating your life and the amazing impact that you have had on the lives of so many people.
I feel deeply blessed and privileged to be your son, and have learned so much from your love, guidance, positivity, and beautiful caring nature.
I know you’re always with me, and that continues to give me great strength.
Thank you so much for being the most wonderful and inspirational parent any son could ever wish for.

It's Mother's Day today, and I've been to the beautiful chapel in the valley in honour of the most wonderful parent anyone could wish for.
Of course, today is just one out of 365 days in the year, and you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers on each and every one of them, Mum.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who attended Mum's service, as well as to those of you who have left lovely tributes and made donations to two very important causes, in her memory.
Along with the rest of the family, I'm truly moved by your kindness, support, and affection for my wonderful mother, as I know she would be too.
It is a testament to her beautiful, joyous, loving nature to know that she touched and lit up the lives of so many people in such a positive way, and I am so proud to call myself her son.
She will live on in our hearts.
As a spiritual person, I also know that the special bond and love we personally shared will last forever. She will always be with me.

My late mother and aunt always looked forward to their hairdressing visits from Carol for over 20 years. When I was at home, Carol and I had wonderful chats whilst my mother was 'under the dryer' !
