Funeral service to take place at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Tuesday 17th September at 12.30pm followed by burial at Peel House Cemetery in Widnes at 1.30pm.

Family flowers only, donations in memory of John to The Brain Tumour Charity.

To Our John, It has been a year now and we cant believe you are not here sending us all Birthday and Christmas Cards and making us laugh... I still think you are in London with Steven and maybe that's easier to cope with... Love you like crazy and miss you always....

I've just heard about this, something reminded me of this great man and I thought I'd look him up.
I expected him to be a teacher still and giving his heart and mind to other kids and it's a tragedy this wonderful teacher and man is gone.

I used to annoy him, never appeared to be listening but could pass his tests no problem.

He was there and he showed a respect very few teachers did.

Sorry I messed you about Sir but I think you would be proud.
