We were deeply saddened to hear the news and we are so sorry for your loss. I only recently learned of Marion’s passing, and my heart has been heavy ever since.

Marion was a Cub and Scout leader who meant an enormous amount to me and, more importantly, to my girls and so many others in our local village. For years, she gave her time, energy and kindness so generously, and the impact of that will be felt for a lifetime.

My girls’ childhoods would have been so different without the laughter, fun and sense of belonging they experienced at Cubs and Beavers. Those happy memories were shaped in no small part by Marion’s warmth, enthusiasm and joy. She had a wonderful way of making everyone feel included and valued.

She truly was a force of nature, full of generosity and fun, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Please know that Marion made a lasting difference to our family, and we will always be grateful for the part she played in our lives.

With heartfelt condolences to you all at this very difficult time.
