It was Peter who got me into youth work when he was a leader at Armstrong Youth Centre and I was influenced by his desire to help young men and women improve their lives. I went through the training and eventually came to work along side him at Scartho Youth Centre for many years where his calm mentorship helped me on many occasions and his help at a critical period in my life was a godsend. Although we lost touch in later life I will never forget him.

He was kind and gentleman, I knew Peter when I was fourteen, he was a youth leader at Scartho Youth Centre. I became then a Daughter in law. He still supported me with my work in Horticulture. He had a gentle soul. Will miss him but forever in my memories and Heart. Rest in peace 🙏
