DorothyBROWNDorothy Hilda Brown 1927 - 2023 Dorothy passed away peacefully on 22nd July 2023 at Torbay Hospital. Dorothy together with husband Cliff had travelled the world making many friends and happy memories along the way. She had a profound love of writing, nature and her home town Paignton. She had plenty of stories to tell of her war time childhood by the sea and her travels abroad. She is survived by her two sons Barry & David and her Grandsons Jamie, Ricky & Jason, whom she loved dearly and they will miss her greatly, as will her extended family. Dorothy made a lasting impression on so many people's lives and leaves an unfillable void. 'It's all part of life's rich pattern'

Dorothy was a dear lady who I remember as a child growing up in Maidenway road and her dear Mum was a close friend and neighbour to my Mum, I have some lovely memories. Sending my condolences, and thinking of you at this sad time. Eileen Severn (was Phillips )
