AnthonyBROADBENTIt is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Broadbent. Tony passed away peacefully in hospital on Friday 13th February 2026 aged 77 years.
Dearly loved husband to Margaret.
Dad to Andy and the late John. Father in law to Jill. A much loved Brother, Grandad, Uncle and friend to many.
Funeral service to celebrate the life of Tony will be held at West Road Cemetery Chapel on Thursday 19th March at 11.15am followed by interment.
Family flowers only please but donations if desired to MacMillan Cancer Support or Cancer Research a collection box will be available at the service.
Following the service, you are warmly invited to join the family to continue celebrating Tony's life at the Benwell Hill Cricket Club.
