Dear dad I will never get used to not having you around. I see you everywhere I go. I even see you on the field now and again where you used to walk lovely Benji. Someone else is living in yours and mam's house now. It's hard passing by it now. It hurts, anyway love you to bits. Miss you always x

To Alan’s kids (Paul, Fiona, Trevor and Gail) and to all of his grandkids,
I just want to say what a fantastic send off for your Dad. He loved you all and would be so proud of each one of you. You all stepped up to the plate to honor him. I’m sure he was beaming down on each of you at the funeral. You honored him as he deserved.

I’m truly humbled to have had the chance to meet one of the great men who have walked this earth. Alan was the nicest uncle I could ask for. He reminded me so much of my granda when he was in Colorado, soaked up every sun ray the day had to offer. Didn’t spend enough time with him at all, but when I did I loved it. To my auntie Pat, and the entire Brenard family, my heart breaks with and for you all, you’re all loved from America. We all lost a great man on Christmas but gained a better angel, “Howay the Lads”, “Go Toon Army”, “NE63” forever. Love you uncle Allen, Rest In Peace.
