Today two years ago we laid an incredible woman, amazing mum, and my very best friend to rest. The pain gets no less, you were a force of nature and a beacon of kindness. I remember you going back to college as a mature student, I was so proud to stand by your side at your awards evening, watching your hard work and determination to complete the course whilst juggling work and looking after six children which couldn’t have been easy was incredible! Mum you definitely knew how to live and bring joy to everyone with your laughter and huge smile, you were my favourite companion on a night out! I will forever treasure the happy memories of our times away in the caravan, our moments at the Silver Birch, our long nights to early mornings dancing and taking you to the theatre for your very first time. You loved life’s simple pleasures. I will always miss our shopping trips and those visits to Shaws chippy for Wrights pie, chips, and gravy. Mum, you were my anchor, my confidante, and my happiness . The pain of losing you is unbearable at times but I know you would be telling me off for getting upset ! You will live on forever in our hearts, our laughter, and our fondest memories. Love you always x Amanda xx
