Stephen was a big character, known for his quick wit and love of joking and teasing those around him. He brought laughter wherever he went and had a way of making people feel instantly at ease. Proud of his roots, he remained fiercely loyal to Liverpool Football Club, a passion he carried with him throughout his life.
Family meant everything to Stephen. His grandchildren were his most precious people, and time spent with them brought him his greatest happiness.
Stephen is reunited with his beloved wife, Cheryl, who passed away in 2003, as well as his mum and father, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Adam Bowden and his wife Katharine, Solah Bowden, and Liam Bowden; his siblings, Jackie Taylor and Andrew Bowden; and his cherished grandsons, Rónán Small, Denny Small, and Grayson Bowden.
Stephen will be remembered for his humor, his big personality, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on through the stories shared, the laughter he inspired, and the love that remains.
