My beautiful, wonderful nan, I had a dream last night that I was in your kitchen and you were singing a song, Saving All My Love For You, and I remember a video I took of you singing it. You had such a beautiful voice. I miss everything about; I miss your laugh that always made me laugh in return; I miss how caring, loving you were, and how you always knew how to make me smile when I felt down; I miss how funny you were, and how you could crack joke at things that were funny just because you said them- “bloody Littlewoods”. I miss your hugs; I miss how you’d always go above and beyond for me. I love you with all my heart, and that’ll never go away. You may have heartbreakingly left this world for heaven, but you always remain with me in my heart, a bit of your soul beats in my heart, and I’ll always have millions of happy memories of you to cherish that I will never forget. I still think of you all the time, and not just on occasions like Christmas’s and birthdays, I think of you when I see the simplest of things; whether it be when the sun is shining bright, and how we’d do your garden every summer and plant new flowers, or in winter when you said it would always snow, or when I go past a Costa and remember I used to bring you coffee from college and you’d always keep the cups for the artwork,or whenever a new phone get released and wondering if you’d think, “What you can do on that phone is unbelievable!” If I see someone who has the same hair as you, or the same clothes, I always think about how I imagine you’d look now in them and truly wish I could. I imagine what you’d say to me if I did something you’d be proud of, because you were always so proud of me if I came round after college and told you how my coursework was going, or school when I’d tell you about my day, and even when I showed you my Easter parade outfits- even that one time when it was a simple egg with a face on it, you beamed like it was the best thing you ever seen. I love you Nan forever💛
