John , we miss your tenacity in fighting for a fairer society. We miss your humour in identifying and dealing with the most pompous of characters, we miss the many lectures about your hero Bob Dylan, but most of all we miss you. Eileen and Mark everlasting friends and comrades.

John, friend and comrade, founding member and leading activist of the Shrewsbury 24 Campaign Committee. You were missed by us all on Friday 6 September 2024 when we placed a blue plaque on the wall of The Casa in Liverpool, dedicated to the Shrewsbury 24 Campaign’s victory in overturning a miscarriage of justice. Rest in power John.

One year on,much missed by all members of the Shrewsbury 24 campaign committee. John always livened up meetings with his sharp wit and warm humour, referencing Bob Dylan no matter what the issue.

My great friend & Comrade is sadly gone., and I am devastated as I cannot attend his funeral. Re-united with his beloved Joan. He fought to the finish. Missed beyond words. RIP Bowie.
