Margaret Boggis taught me Latin and Ancient History at King Edward VI Grammar School for Girls Handsworth in the 1970s. She brought Classics to life with her love and enthusiasm of the ancient world and for life in general. A unique and marvellous person who inspired me to become a Classics teacher too. Thank you Margaret!

Margaret was a wonderful friend for over 42 years. She was always so interested in people and events right to the end. A classical scholar of some distinction belied by her self-deprecation. Lynda
