AudreyBLACKABYIt is with great sadness that we announce
the death of Audrey Blackaby who passed away peacefully at home on the 30th of July 2026 at the age of 100 years.
Audrey leaves a daughter Carol, son-in-law Peter and granddaughters Hannah and Katie.
Just weeks before she died, Audrey celebrated her 100th birthday at home and had a wonderful time sharing cake and bubbly with friends and family.
Audrey was born in Nuneaton and spent her life living in Nuneaton and the nearby village of Fenny Drayton.
Audrey had been a hairdresser all her life. She owned Audrey's hairdressing salon on Manor Court Rd in Nuneaton then worked at North Warwickshire College in the Hair and beauty department and latterly set up a mobile hairdressing business which she continued until her retirement at 75 years old. Audrey also enjoyed antiques and had a stall at antique fairs in the local area and beyond.
She will be sadly missed.
The funeral will take place on Friday 21st August 2026 at Manor Court Rd Baptist Church, Nuneaton at 11.00 am.
